Starfiles allows other services to use our system to provide their users many of the unique features we provide. You may have noticed Starfiles or other services that use our system ask for a file ID and have been confused what it is.

What is a file ID?

A file ID is a unique string used to identify a file.

How do I get a file's ID?

The file ID is shown in the URL of a file's page. For example if you are viewing a file at https://starfiles.co/file/xxxxx/document-pdf, the file ID would be xxxxx. The file ID is also listed at the bottom of every file's page.

Supporting Starfiles

Starfiles is only possible thanks to donations and premium members. If you find Starfiles useful and would like to show some appreciation, you can donate via PayPal (click here) or become a premium member (click here). Premium members get perks like extra features, no ads, and more!
